North East With Dogs

Home / Newcastle & Tyne & Wear / South Shields & the Boldons

The Lawe Top pubs, Sandhaven and Littlehaven beaches, Marsden Bay and the Leas round to Souter Lighthouse. Sandhaven bans dogs from 8am to 6pm between 1 May and 30 September, so Littlehaven and Marsden are the summer dog beaches.

Confirmed by venue or Official dog policy the place told us its dog rules, or we checked its own published policy. Dog friendly per CAMRA (or a tourist board) means a trusted guide lists it as dog friendly; each listing says which.

We check every dog rule at the source: the place's own website, the booking page for each cottage, or trusted guides like CAMRA. Each listing tells you which.
