Home / Cottages / Hot tub stays

A long walk, a muddy dog dried off by the door, and a hot tub under the stars. These are the places to stay we list that have a hot tub, going by their own websites or a tourist board, with where the dog can go in each. A hot tub is for people, so check the dog rules around it before you book.

Ad Links marked Ad go to cottage booking sites we have an affiliate deal with (Snaptrip, holidaycottages.co.uk, Cottages.com and Hoseasons). If you book, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We don't check their cottages the way we check the places on this site, so read each cottage's pet rules and fees before you book. Nothing on this site is ranked or described differently because of it.

Hot tub and a dog: four things to ask

  1. Can the dog go near the tub? Many places want dogs kept away from the hot tub and its cover. Ask before you go if your dog follows you everywhere.
  2. Is it private? Some hot tubs are on a shared deck or in a shared garden. Private and fenced is easier with a dog.
  3. Is the garden enclosed?A dog left on the patio while you sit in the tub needs a secure fence and gate.
  4. Any extra cost?Check whether the hot tub is included and what the dog fee is. Both are sometimes added at the end.
