North East With Dogs

Home / County Durham / Durham City

The river loop around the Cathedral and Castle, the riverside paths, and the pubs and cafés of Elvet, Claypath, Gilesgate, Framwellgate and Shincliffe. Lots of places here welcome dogs in the bar but not the restaurant, so each listing says which. Note that pet dogs aren't allowed on the Castle tours, in the Botanic Garden or the museums, and Premier Inn hotels don't take pets.
