Dog-friendly pubs and inns with rooms in the North East

A pub with rooms is the easiest kind of break with a dog: walk all day, eat by the fire with the dog under the table, then go upstairs. The catch is that "dog friendly" can mean the bar but not the restaurant, or some rooms but not others. This list says which, for every inn, and shows which ones have confirmed it with us directly.
